Big Improvements, Better Commutes: U.S. 169 Widening Construction Completed

Take a look from above! The U.S. 169 widening improvements from 66th St. to 86th St. were completed in August.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation's latest project represents a significant investment in Owasso's highway infrastructure — adding capacity, improving traffic flow and safety, and helping prepare us for the future.

Froyo Beast, offering frozen yogurt, opens in Smith Farm Marketplace

Froyo Beast is now open in Smith Farm Marketplace, where locals can satisfy their summer sweet tooth.

“It means everything,” said owner Brock Reuss, who brought the concept to life alongside his wife, Jacklyn, at the end of July.

“It’s been a long time in the making,” Jacklyn said, “and we’re just excited to be a part of the community, meet more people, and really give back.”

Froyo Beast offers a variety of frozen yogurt flavors and a wide range of toppings, along with different types of coffee and protein — all complemented by a touch of Owasso spirit.

“We love the community; we love the Rams,” Brock said,” and that was kind of the idea behind Froyo Beast and the ram (logo).”
