A New Chapter in City Service: Celebrating Our New Public Works Facility

Get a firsthand look at the new headquarters of our Public Works Department, which broke ground off of 116th Street just west of Owasso Sports Park in Oct. 2024.

In March, staff will start the big move into the Administrative Building, and then continue the buildout of the Field Operations Building and Fleet & Facility Maintenance Building over the next several months.

The 48-acre property will streamline operations for Public Works to meet the needs of our growing community.

Tiny Blessings relocates Owasso space

Tiny Blessings is celebrating a new chapter in Owasso.

Owner Kimanda Ballard in January relocated the business from its Garnett site of over 12 years to its current property at 86th and Main.

Tiny Blessings, first opened in March 2014, offers a variety of 2D-5D prenatal elective and diagnostic ultrasounds performed by certified sonographers — services that will continue to be offered and enhanced at the new location.

“We’ll give them peace of mind,” Kimanda said of her expecting customers. “We know how special it is to get to be a mom and to grow a human.”

Tiny Blessings provides gender determination, fetal measurements, heartbeat scans, blood tests, video and digital/printed images, and more.

The City of Owasso recently announced a new partnership with Green Country Oklahoma aimed at strengthening and promoting our tourism sector. Green Country — a regional affiliate of Oklahoma Tourism — will work alongside the City’s Economic Development team to promote Owasso’s unique experiences at a statewide level.
