Brewing connections: Going behind the scenes at Milo’s Tea Tulsa factory

A big thank you to Milo's Tea (Drink Milo's) for giving our Economic Development Team a tour of their facility, located in Tulsa County just west of Owasso, at the end of March.

These visits help us better understand how we can continue to support growth, strengthen partnerships, and create new opportunities for Owasso businesses and residents alike.

Owasso City Manager Chris Garrett, along with Owasso Mayor Alvin Fruga and Owasso City Councilor Jamie Dunn, were in attendance.

Mr. Zason Fresh Mexican grill celebrates grand opening in Owasso

Mr. Zason Fresh Mexican Grill celebrated its grand opening in Owasso at the beginning of March.

Owners Mariah and Olegario Munoz acquired the building that formerly housed El Tequila off of 86th Street, and put the finishing touches on the renovated space this month.

“It’s a blessing from God that He gave us this opportunity to come here,” said Mariah who recently moved to Green Country from North Carolina. “We’ve been here in this city before, we liked it, and we said, ‘We want to be part of Owasso.’”

Mr. Zason introduces a brand-new menu that includes fajitas, enchiladas, sopes, combination plates, crab and shrimp dishes, and signature grill selections, among several other unique options.

“We’re just excited,” Olegario said. “I want my customers just to feel comfortable, home. We want to try to give the best service and best food.”
