Owasso’s Economic Development team saw an eventful month in July!

A lot happened this month that spurred business, rallied the community, and incited growth across Owasso.

Residents shopped small during our Christmas in July event; Wildflowers Daycare opened in the Redbud District; Cypress Crossing Apartments celebrated the grand opening of its 366-unit complex; and Goodwill Industries broke ground on a new 20,000-square-foot store and donation center, to name a few things!

Business spotlight: Goodwill breaks ground on new 20,000-square-foot Owasso store

Goodwill broke ground on its new 20,000-square-foot Owasso store and donation center on July 16.

Owasso Mayor Alvin Fruga and Owasso City Councilor and Owasso Chamber Chairman of the Board Chad Balthrop both gave welcoming remarks to attendees at the 2.3-acre site, which is expected to be completed by next spring just north of Rejoice Christian School.
