From Heavy Snowfall to New Storefronts: January Highlights Across Owasso

It was an eventful start to the new year as heavy snowfall blanketed the Owasso community, leading our Public Works crews to clock in nearly 900 man hours clearing the streets! But that didn’t stop local businesses like a new coffee shop in the Redbud District from serving up warm beverages for patrons to enjoy.

As we move forward into 2026, Owasso continues to grow with purpose and momentum. We’re grateful for the residents, businesses, and city teams who help make our city a great place to live, work, and play!

Chloe Lee’s opens in downtown Owasso

Fresh brews and tasty treats are all the craze at Chloe Lee’s Coffee and Bakehouse in Owasso's Redbud District.

Owners Nathan and Chloe McKnight are drawing foot traffic after taking over the empty space that formerly housed Prairie Bakeshop off of 76th Street in November.

“This was where we wanted to be,” Nathan said. “We’ve just been waiting and praying for the right opportunity, and this finally came up.”

Chloe added about the cozy space: “I just want everyone to feel welcomed, make sure everyone has a good time, and just create a space that people can have conversations.”
