Owasso Fire EMS Cpt. Chase Coates receives James O. Page Legacy Scholarship

Congratulations to Owasso Fire EMS Cpt. Chase Coates who has received the James O. Page Legacy Scholarship!

The scholarship, presented by Fitch & Associates, offers paramedics/EMS leaders mentorship and professional development opportunities to further their knowledge and skills in emergency services.

“Receiving this scholarship is very valuable to me because it will allow me to learn from other industry experts and enhance my leadership abilities to better support the team at Owasso,” Chase said.

Chase is among 13 recipients out of 444 entrants nationwide to receive the scholarship. He is also the first Owasso firefighter to earn the prestigious accolade.

He will participate in a six-part mentorship program and receive full registration and travel expenses to attend the 2026 Pinnacle EMS Leadership Forum July 13-16 in San Diego, California.
