Owasso Attack victim reunites with police, fire crews after months-long recovery

June 12 was a special day for our emergency responders. They got a chance to reunite with Tiffiany Romine, who survived a severe baseball bat attack while working at Captain D’s in Owasso last summer.

“Ya’ll kept me alive,” Tiffiany told Owasso’s Police and Fire crews, who came to her rescue. “I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you.”

Tiffiany was hospitalized for nine months — enduring multiple surgeries and procedures, including having a portion of her skull replaced — before returning home at the beginning of May.

“Definitely an emotional reunion,” Owasso Sgt. Dan Walters said. “We didn’t think she would live through that, and to see her recover, it’s just a miracle.”

Tiffiany was accompanied to the reunion by her partner, Clark Jones, and their son, Braden.
