Owasso Mayor presents proclamation to retired OCR director

Congrats to Randy Cowling, who is retiring as director of Owasso Community Resources!

Owasso Mayor Alvin Fruga presented a proclamation at his retirement party today declaring July 16, 2025, as "Randy Cowling Day."

In his 10 years at Owasso Community Resources, Randy helped the organization grow to serve over 600 families each month and distribute nearly 800,000 pounds of food.

Randy also served as the editor of the Owasso Reporter, and other community newspapers, before his longstanding stint at the local food pantry.
