Congrats to Assistant Finance Director Tara Coonce who was recognized as Employee of the Quarter at Owasso's City Council meeting Tuesday night!

Tara was hired in 2020 and promoted to her current role in 2025. She consistently demonstrates attentiveness, dependability, and professionalism in everything she does.

Over the past quarter, Tara stepped up in an extraordinary way — managing multiple roles while two team members were out on extended leave and successfully navigating year-end payroll and finalizing the annual audit without missing a deadline.

Tara’s resilience, strong work ethic, and steady leadership ensured continuity of city services and responsibilities during a critical time for the Finance Department, stating, "I appreciate working with people who serve with excellence and value character."
