Medicap Owasso Wellness Pharmacy & Compounding is celebrating 25 years in business this month.

Dr. Kathy Campbell, owner of the longstanding Redbud District drugstore, held an anniversary celebration on Wednesday to commemorate the occasion.

“Twenty-five years is the number of every day showing up to do your best for your patients,” said Dr. Campbell, who offers a variety of lifestyle medicine, food choices, nutrition guidance, and more for her patrons.

Across Medicap’s nearly 30-year stint, Dr. Campbell has hosted a comprehensive weight-loss program, written a book, served on the National Board of Women in Pharmacy, and traveled to Washington, D.C., to advocate for an overhaul of the drug industry.

“There are a lot of challenges with owning a small business, and every bit of it is worth it for that one patient that lives a better, longer life,” she said. “We’re going to do the things that help you be well. We’re going to help you make great health decisions.”
