Step 1 - Sign Up

Download the app and create your free account. 

Step 2 - Earn Rewards

Automatically earn 5% back on purchases at participating local businesses. Rewards are sponsored by the City of Owasso to incentivize local spending.

  • To find participating businesses, select the "Claim/Redeem" tab on the home page or navigate to the "Discover" page.

  • If you have linked your credit card, the rewards will process automatically. Otherwise, upload a photo of the receipt and enter the transaction amount. Once verified, rewards will be in your "Rewards Balance."

Step 3 - Redeem Rewards

Rack up the rewards and use them at any other participating businesses around town.

  • To redeem your rewards, make a purchase in full at any participating business. 

  • Select the "Claim/Redeem" tab on your home screen, click the "Redeem" tab, and find the business that you visited. 

  • Enter the amount of rewards you would like to redeem towards this purchase and take a photo of the receipt. Once validated, you will receive your redemption via your selected payout method (Venmo, PayPal, or Check).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Yes, you can download the app and create a free account on Google Play or the App Store.

  • No, Open Rewards gives you two options to claim rewards. You can either link your bank account for automated rewards or you can upload a photo of the receipt as proof of purchase. 

  • The rewards are currently set to 5% per purchase. If the percentage has changed, it will be displayed within the business information in the "Discovery" tab.

  • Rewards are capped at a maximum of $20 per single purchase and $500 per person on an annual basis. 

    • Locally Owned and Operated: Businesses must be locally owned and operated within Owasso.

    • Retail-Based Companies: Companies with a retail sales component are eligible.

    • Non-Local or Non-Small Businesses: Participation is limited to businesses that are both local and small in scale.

    • Home-Based Businesses: Only businesses with physical brick-and-mortar locations are eligible at this time.

    • Subscription or Member-Based Companies: Businesses that operate on a subscription or membership-based model are not eligible.

    • Service-Based Companies: Service-based companies are not currently eligible. Including but not limited to:

      • Automotive sales and services

      • Digital services

      • Financial services

      • Real Estate services

      • Etc.

  • If you do not see your business listed in the app, email swingert@cityofowasso.com or follow the steps on the following link: Add Your Business.

    1. Scan the QR code on the back of the coupon.

    2. Download the add and create a free profile.

    3. To redeem this coupon, click "Voucher Redemption," choose Owasso as your Select Community, and enter the voucher code.

    Businesses do not accept this card. This card can only be redeemed through the app and may not contain cash value. 

  • For this issue, you will need to reach out to Technical Support via Bludot. Technical Support can be reached by clicking "Contact Support" in the app’s Profiles tab. Simply enter your concern or question and press submit. A representative from Bludot will respond shortly.

  • Rewards earned through Open Rewards expire three full months after the month they were earned. This means you'll have the rest of the month you earn your rewards, plus an additional three months to use them at participating local businesses! If your rewards have expired or you have any questions, please use the Contact Support feature in the Open Rewards app. We're happy to help!
