New ‘Proejct Clydesdale’ data center breaks ground west of owasso

On Oct. 30, state and local officials broke ground on Project Clydesdale, a data center complex to be built on 400 acres of unincorporated Tulsa County land just west of Owasso.

The development is projected to generate approximately $3 billion in economic activity, reinforcing Owasso and Tulsa’s position as a growing destination for technology and innovation.

Owasso Mayor Alvin Fruga and Owasso City Manager Chris Garrett participated in the ceremony, which kicked off construction on the four-phased, seven-year buildout.
