Long Tail Farm offers farm tours, live shows for Owasso audiences of all ages

A new petting zoo in Owasso is drawing the attention of families looking for a unique outlet of entertainment.

Long Tail Farm, located on the east end of Owasso off of Highway 20, offers both farm tours and live shows for local audiences of all ages.

“One thing that we want our younger customers to specifically to come out with is animal education, where they come from, why they’re so important to nature,” Operations Manager Derek Brusenski said. “For our adult clients, we just want them to reconnect with their kids’ side.”

Long Tail Farm opened in January 2025, but has grown in popularity in recent months with its wide selection of animals and engaging activities.

The business books school events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, community gatherings, and more with its wide collection of animals that include a lemur, capybara, kangaroo, fennec fox, emu, and snake, among others.

“Getting to hold them and interact with them up close alleviates our stress, so we just want them (our clients) to be stress-free and just enjoy their time,” Derek said.
