The Association, supporting small businesses, celebrates community debut
The Association recently kicked off its community debut.
The organization, which hosted a soft launch on Jan. 9, provides various resources, facilitates educational opportunities, and advocates for the needs of small businesses.
“Owasso’s small businesses are the backbone of this community, and The Association exists to make sure they are seen, supported, and set up to thrive,” President Megan Dodwell said.
Seven individuals sit on a board that oversees the operations of the organization, which offers membership options and other benefits for local businesses.
Secretary Lee Whitehead, head of the Association’s Education Committee, said he is “super excited. I think it means everything to the small business community; we want them to thrive with purpose.”
Members who join receive access to educational workshops, marketing opportunities, financial literacy programs, member spotlights, and support initiatives such as the Cash Mob and Business Shortfall Grant.
