Chelle Mountwas named the City of Owasso’s Employee of the Quarter at City Council on March 4. Chelle has served as the City’s GIS (Geographic Information System) Analyst since February 2020.

Owasso Mayor Alvin Fruga in January presented a proclamation recognizing the 2024 Class A1 Rejoice Christian Eagles Varisty Football team for claiming their first state title over Hooker, 35-14, in December.

In mid-December, the Owasso Fire Department conducted live controlled burns at its Public Safety Training Center, where crews rehearsed response times, entry points, victim searches and more.
