Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma expands Owasso footprint with staff, services

Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma is marking a milestone of growth.

The Tulsa-based clinic recently expanded its footprint by increasing its orthopedic physician services at its Owasso location.

“We have partners in the community, and we want to be a better partner to serve them better,” Business Development Coordinator & Associate Director of Sports Medicine Darren Lunow said. “If we can keep patients getting the care that they need here in town, we’re absolutely excited to do that.”

Advanced Orthopedics first opened off of 86th Street around 10 years ago, but relocated to its current site at 314 E. 5th Ave., Ste. 103, in July 2024.

The clinic is now open five days a week with a larger staff, offering services such as spine surgery, total joint replacement, hand/wrist surgery, and sports medicine to more citizens in the area.

“You’re not a number; you’re a person, you’re a patient, and we’re here to take care of you,” Darren said. “The goal is, how can we treat more people, and how can we treat them better.”
