Owasso city staff officially receive $486K check from Owasso Golden Agers
On June 2, Owasso city officials formally accepted a $478,233 donation from the Owasso Gold Agers Foundation to support the community’s senior citizen population.
The Foundation, which is in the process of dissolving, provided the funds for the construction, development, or renovation of a facility dedicated to senior programs and services in Owasso.
Owasso Mayor Paul Loving and City Manager Chris Garrett accepted the donation at the Owasso Community Center, two weeks after Owasso City Council approved Resolution 2026-09 authorizing acceptance of the funds.
The City is grateful for the Golden Agers' longstanding commitment to Owasso’s seniors and looks forward to using this generous gift to enhance programs and opportunities that will benefit older adults for years to come!
